2.7.2 Removing the Alarm Module

Use the following procedure to remove the alarm module from the main chassis.

1 Use a screwdriver to loosen the alarm module screws.

2 Grasp the handle on the front of the alarm module, and pull the alarm module out.

When you use a voip line card in conjunction with an adsl or vdsl card place the voip card and its extension cards in the chassis directly adjacent to the dsl card and its splitter cards as shown in the following figure this example uses the alc line card and asc1024 splitter 39
