CLEANING
FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET AND LET THE MACHINE COOL DOWN
Clean the Cotton Candy after each use to prevent leftover food from sticking. Don’t use abrasive or strong
detergents. Remove the dish, the lid and the rotating disc and clean these parts in hot soapy water. Use a
damp cloth to wipe off the outside of the machine.
NEVER IMMERSE THE COTTON CANDY IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUIDS.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Place the machine on a stable and flat surface.
- This appliance is only suitable for household use.
- Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned to avoid people tripping over it.
- With this type of appliance, a damaged cable must be replaced by our service department using special tools.
- Don’t use outside.
- Be careful with the accessories, do not let them bang against hard objects and don’t let them fall.
- Keep an eye on the cotton candy when it is within reach of children. Also take care yourself when
using the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before tidying it away.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability,
or lack of experience and knowledge can cause accidents. Persons responsible for their safety should
give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.
- Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- The outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect from socket before changing accessories or approaching parts
that move in use.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour mar-
kings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW
If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.
