In addition to the updating modes introduced above, users can trigger W52P IP DECT
phones to perform auto provisioning by dialing an activation code. To use this method,
the activation code and the provisioning server address need to be pre-configured on
the IP phones. This method is normally used for IP phones distributed by retail sales. It
has the advantage that the IP phones do not need to be handled (e.g., registering
account) before sending them to end-users.
