Updates the version of the DMP-555 firmware.
1 Click [Help] and then click [Version UP] – [DMP-
555 Firmware].
• A message for confirming that the DMP-555 is connected
opens.
2 Click the [OK] button after turning ON the power
to the DMP-555 to be updated and connecting it
to your computer.
• The [The following update package was detected.]
screen opens.
3 Click the [Yes] button.
• The download of the update package begins.
• While the Update Package is downloading, the
[Currently downloading the update package.] screen is
displayed.
Warning!
Before Updating Versions
Connect your computer to the Internet.
Eject the SD memory Card from the
DMP-555. You cannot update the
version when it is inserted.
Updating the version requires
administrator authority for the
computer. Log in as a user who was
been set up as a computer
administrator and then update the
computer.
You cannot update the version unless
user registration has been completed.
If you have 2 or more DMP-
555s
Update the version for each device.
If there is not a more current
version on the support site
than the one currently in use
Do not try to update the version.
