Windows Users
Click on the link http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html to download PuTTY
(free software) to set up an SSH console for the V2406/2422/2426-LX in a Windows environment. The
following screen shows an example of the configuration that is required.
Linux Users
From a Linux machine, use the ssh command to access the V2406/2422/2426-LX’s console utility via SSH.
#ssh 192.168.3.127
Select yes to open the connection.

Adjusting the System Time
The V2406/2422/2426-LX has two time settings. One is the system time, and the other is provided by an RTC
(Real Time Clock) built into the V2406/2422/2426-LX’s hardware.
Setting the Time Manually
Use the date command to query the current system time or to set a new system time. Use hwclock to query
the current RTC time or to set a new RTC time.
Use the following command to set the system time.
