(free software) to set up an SSH console for the V2416-LX in a Windows environment. The following screen
shows an example of the configuration that is required.
Linux Users
From a Linux machine, use the ssh command to access the V2416-LXs console utility via SSH.
#ssh 192.168.3.127
Select yes to open the connection.
[root@bee_notebook root]# ssh 192.168.3.127

Adjusting the System Time
The V2416-LX has two time settings. One is the system time, and the other is provided by an RTC (Real Time
Clock) built into the V2416-LX’s hardware.
Setting the Time Manually
Use the date command to query the current system time or to set a new system time. Use hwclock to query
the current RTC time or to set a new RTC time.
Use the following command to set the system time.
# date MMDDhhmmYYYY
