Upgrading the DOM Module

The V2406/2422/2426 compuers have been pre-installed with a DOM to store the OS. To upgrade the DOM

module, take the following steps.

1. After taking off the back cover of the V2406/2422/2426, find the location of the DOM module socket.

2. Pull up and take off the DOM module, and then place the new DOM module into the slot.

Installing a SATA Hard Disk

The V2406/2422/2426 embedded computer has one SATA connector for installing one SATA hard disk. To

install a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk, follow these instructions:

1. Disconnect the V2406/2422/2426 from its power source.

2. Remove all the screws and pull up the back cover of the computer. Refer to “Upgrading the Module Memory”

section for details.
