Phone Book

To add a new entry:

1. Press Names (right soft key)

2. Enter a name when LCD displays “Name:” You can use Up( ) arrow soft key to

delete the last character entered. When complete, press Save (left soft key*to

save. For list of all available letters, please refer to page 22.

3. You will be prompted to enter a phone number for the name just entered. Enter a

phone number. Use the Up ( ) arrow soft key to delete the last number entered.

When completed, press Save (left soft key* to save.

4. Enter a 2 digit number for a location in the phonebook. When completed, press

OK (left soft key*to save.

Note: In standby mode, key in any 2 digit number and then press “Find” (right

soft key* to quickly find a name and phone number by the location in the

phonebook.

5. If a desired location has already been used, the LCD will prompt, “Overwrite?”at

which time press OK (left soft key* to overwrite or press Back (right soft key*to

return back to previous menu.

6. If the location is available, the phonebook will automatically save with your

desired settings.

Access the phonebook by using the Down ( ). You can press a number to

search or a Name (right soft key*to view the number or name.

Access the phonebook by pressing the Down( ) arrow soft key first. Then you can use

the Up( ) and Down( ) soft keys to scroll through the phonebook. You can press

the OPTION (left soft key) and then use the Up( ) and Down( ) arrow soft key to

select “Edit”, “Erase”, “Group Setting”, “Exit Phonebook” or you can press

key to make a phone call.

Choose Edit and then you can press Number or Name (right soft key*to choose

editing name and phone number. Press Save (left soft key*when finish.

Choose Erase and press OK (left soft key* to delete the record.

Choose Group Setting and then you can use the Up( ) and

Down( ) soft keys

to select the group. There are five groups, “Family “, “Friends “, “VIP “, “Business

“ and “Other “. You can select “No Group” to remove from the original group.
