Serial Control Protocol Commands

The VM3404H / VM3909H’s built-in bi-directional RS-232 serial interface

allows system control through a high-end controller or PC. The RS-232

commands for the VM3404H and VM3909H are the same, with the only

difference being that the VM3909H has 5 additional ports.

The controller’s serial port should be configured as follows:

The vm3404h vm3909h has a built in configuration utility via the front panel lcd which can be controlled by pressing the menu and front panel input pushbuttons 1 9 or 1 4 user can cycle through the menu options starting from ip setting page in the order shown in the table below p.33
Press the menu pushbutton to switch between the main screen and lcd menu page when the menu is active the menu pushbutton s built in led lights up p.33
