How to connect a plug

Thewiresinthemainsleadarecolouredin

accordancewiththefollowingcode:

BLUE-“NEUTRAL”(“N”)

BROWN-“LIVE”(“L”)

GREEN&YELLOW-“EARTH”(“E”)

1. TheGREEN&YELLOWwiremustbeconnected

totheterminalintheplugwhichismarked

withtheletter"E"orbytheEarthsymbolor

colouredGREENorGREEN&YELLOW.

2. TheBLUEwiremustbeconnectedtothe

terminalwhichismarkedwiththeletter"N"or

colouredBLACK.

3. TheBROWNwiremustbeconnectedtothe

terminalwhichismarkedwiththeletter"L"or

colouredRED.

Beforereplacingtheplugcover,makecertainthatthe

cordgripisclampedoverthesheathofthelead-not

simplyoverthethreewires.
