I Installation ll Warning There are dangerous high voltages inside the power supply DO NOT open the cover of the power supply case Warranty is void if the cover is removed Under no circumstances should the power supply cover be opened Please keep the power supply away from humidity and operate it in the proper environment Operating temperature 0 to 50 C Relative Humidity 20 to 80 Deutsch Français Italiano Español Portugués Русский ceskÿ ф SÍ 1 Make certain the computer system is turned off and unplugged from the AC source Disconnect the AC power cord from the old power supply 2 Open the computer case Please refer to the case or system instructions 3 Disconnect all DC power connectors from the system devices 4 Remove the old power supply and replace with the new Sea Sonic unit into the computer case and replace the mounting screws 5 Connect power connectors to your main board and peripheral devices Check to make sure that all cables and wires are securely connected Connect the 24 20 pin Main Power Connector to the mainboard s power connector Connect the 4 8 pin 12V Power Connector to your mainboard as needed Connect the Peripheral 4 pin Power Connector to the devices SATA Connectors are for devices with Serial ATA interface Connect the Floppy Drive Power Connector to the floppy as needed Connect the PCI E 12V Power Connector s to the PCI E graphics card s Please consult your graphics card manual for details 6 Close your computer case connect the power cord to the power supply and then set the I O switch of the power supply to I position Ill Trouble Shooting If the power supply fails to function properly please follow the below steps before application for service or repair 1 Is the AC power cord properly plugged into the electrical outlet and into the power supply s AC inlet 2 Is the I O switch on the power supply switched to the I position 3 Check to make sure that all DC power connectors are properly connected to all peripheral devices 4 Cycle the power supply on off by toggling the I O switch on and off a few times with at lease 0 5 second in the off state to reset the power supply unit If you still need further assistance to resolve your situation please visit Seasonic homepage for additional technical support www seasonlc com m 1
