5. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION GUIDE
Basic operation
1. Insert the power plug into the socket, press the power switch (on the back of the subwoofer) to ON, (sign âûêë) button on the front
panel becomes red.
2. Push the POWER button on the front panel (sign âûêë) becomes blue, the system is on.
3. After powered
CD/VCD indication light is on means CD/VCD channel has been connected.
NORMAL indication light is on means in STEREO mode.
Volume displayer shows -30dB means the volume is opened to 1/4 of the total volume.
4. Using the remote control or buttons on the front panel to choose the following:
Press INPUT button can choose CD/VCD, TAPE, DVD, TV stereo input channel.
Press MODE button can choose STEREO (NORMAL), SURROUND or AC-3 mode
5. Adjust volume.
Press VOLUME button to adjust the master volume.
Adjust each speakers volume separately Press SPK-CHOOSE button to choose F.VOL. S.VOL, C.VOL, SW.VOL, (F.VOL means front
speakers volume, S.VOL means surround speakers volume, the others as same.) When one speaker is chosen the according indication
light will be on, then press SPK + or SPK-. Button to adjust the selected speakers volume.
6. Adjust BASS, TREBLE, MIDDLE volume separately.
Push EQ-CHOOSE button to choose BASS. TREBLE, MIDDLE, when one is chosen the according light will on, then press EQ.+ or EQ.-
to adjust the volume.
7. S.BASS function
In STEREO (NORMAL) or SURROUND mode press S.BASS button can strengthen the bass effect, the S.BASS light will be on.
In AC-3 mode this function dose not work.
8. AC-3 function choice: Press the MODE button to AC-3 mode, the AC-3 indicator light is on.
Connect the cable to the DVD +’s according to the F.L./ F.R./ S.L./ S.R./ C./ S.W. Indication as follows:
SUBWOOFER DVD
SW.CE. SW.CE.
SR.SL. SR.SL.
FR.FL. FR.FL.
Note: the same color end must insert the same socket, for example the white end is connected to SW socket in the subwoofer, the other
white end must also insert the DVD SW socket.
9. Adjust the volume to the best and use the AC-3 disc can get real theater effect.
10. When all stereo, AC-3 etc, cables are connected well just press the INPUT or MODE button to switch, do not need to connect again.
IMPORTANT
Only use AC-3 5.1 channels DVD disc can have the 5.1 channels home theater effect. When listen to stereo disc do not use AC-3 way
connection, the right way is transfer lo stereo connection then listen to stereo disc.
Operation instruction for the Remote Control:
1. The remote control just works at the vertical direction of 3 m or 10 m;
2. Do never place it at the humidity and high-temperature conditions;
3. Do never put it under strong vibration;
4. The remote ejector cannot be jammed by the objective;
5. The receiving sensor for the sub-woofer cannot be jammed by the objective;
6. In order to avoid the battery liquid damaging on the remote control take out the batteries from the back when it isn’t necessary to use
the system for a long time;
7. When the remote ejector signal become weaker, now you shall change the battery. Normally, we shall change the battery one time
every two months.
8. Battery spec: AAA Battery (2 pcs)
1. Push the batteries cover downward;
2. Push down the battery cover;
3. Then place the new batteries into it.
