Assembly / Setup
Figure 3 Assembly of tube
Assemble the middle tube, top tube and pump in the
shown order.
Turn the black sealing connections, and tighten firmly to
ensure no leakage.
Figure 4 Connection of hose
Connect the hose by pulling back the outer cover on the
hose coupler and click onto top tube valve and sprayer.
The sprayer can be adjusted in 8 positions;
Full, angle, shower, mist, center, flat, cone and soaker
To change spray pattern, turn the front of the sprayer
Notice
CW410 does not fully support all spray patterns, as the
sprayer is a standard developed for regular garden
hoses.
If full performance of the misting and soaking funktions
are needed, it is recommended to connect the sprayer to
a regular garden hose.
Figure 5 Valve
Open and close the water flow as shown in figure 5.
The valve does not turn the pump on or off, but blocks
the water flow.
The valve located on the tube is only to be used for
blockage of water flow up to 30 minutes. If longer
blockage of water flow is, needed TEXAS recommends
unplugging the power supply.
Operation.
Before operations always;
Make sure that the pump is placed in a safe and
stable position.
When the pump runs automatically, the swimmer can
move freely.
Make sure the inlet ports are kept free e.g. by placing
the pump on a brick.
The submersible pump is constructed for use in owner
homes and gardens, especially for watering of plants
from a rainwater barrel, transfer of water, emptying of
containers, wells and shafts.
This submersible pump can be used for pumping clean
water, easy polluted water including water containing
particles of a diameter up to 5 mm, water from the
swimming pool added with usual amounts of disinfectant
medias and soap water
When the plug of the electric cable is connected to the
power supply, the pump automatically switches on and
off depending on the water level.
The floating switch will activate when the water levels
are high, and stop when reaching low water levels.
The floating switch is 40 cm long, and TEXAS
recommends to only using the pump in Ø80 cm or larger
wells/lakes.
The pump should not be idling and shall be switched off
as soon as no more water runs through it.
An inbuilt thermal cut-out switches the motor off when
overheating. When the motor is cooled off, it is
automatically restarted (for further details see trouble
shooting)
Pull the plug not the cable when disconnecting the
power.
Do NOT lift the pump in the electric cable and do not
store the pump by hanging it in the electric or swimmer
cable. Tie a rope into the handle (2-4), when the pump is
lifted into a well or shaft
If the pump has been used for draining chlorine
containing water from the swimming pool or for pumping
of other media, which result in deposits, you shall rinse
and clean the pump with water.
Sand and other grinding material wears on the pump
and reduces its capacity.
Avoid that the pump is idling for more than 10 min, this
means that no water is running through the pump.
The pump is equipped with a valve for automatic
breathing of any air pockets, which are being formed
when the water level in the pump has been below the
level of the air escape valve, When water again is
flowing freely, a bit of water may force itself out of the
valve. If necessary, disconnect the power supply for a
moment and restart.
The pump must NOT be used for corroding, inflammable
or explosive fluids such as gasoline, petroleum, thinner,
grease, oil, salt and water from the toilet or fluids warmer
than 35ºC.
The pump is NOT constructed for continuous use,
including constant circulation of water. If you use the
pump for such purposes, you must calculate with shorter
life of the pump.
