The timer It is programmed as follows This can be used to time periods up to 99 minutes It is independent of the other settings The hotplate must be connected 1 Press the symbol on the hotplate which is not in use The uu and min indicators light up on the display 2 Select the required time in the programming zone The timer starts to count down after a few seconds Once the time has elapsed Once the time has elapsed a beep will sound The uu and min indicators flash on the display Press the symbol to stop the beep and the switch off the indicators Correcting the time Press the symbol on the selected hotplate and change the time using the programming zone Switching the timer off Press the symbol on the required hotplate Then select the time uu in the programming zone Suggestions and warnings The timer will be deactivated after a power cut Although the hob may have been switched off the timer will continue to run until the pre programmed time has elapsed Selecting a heat setting while the timer is still running will change the function and the hotplate will be automatically switched off See the section on Switching off a hotplate automatically 25
