POWER
1. Connect the power cord to
the outlet. Make sure that
the voltage indicated on the
device matches the voltage
in your home.
2. Place one 9 V battery (not
included) into the battery
compartment. The battery
maintains the clock in case of
power failure. In such cases,
the display will not work, but
the time is being maintained.
After long use, the battery can
go bad and leak. If you use the
unit without a battery, then you
will be required to set the time,
as instructed in the “Time
Setting” section, each time the
unit is disconnected from
power.
SETTING THE TIME
Press and hold the TIME button
(4), set the hours by pressing the
HOUR (12) button and the min-
utes by pressing the MINUTE
button (8). The current time will
be shown on the display (10).

1. Set the function selector
(14) to the ON position.
