Safety instructions
Before installation
Modication
Specications described in the “User Manual” and/or
“Operator Manual” must not be altered.
Modication of the appliance (and/or parts of the
appliance) will make the warranty and any liability for
damage or injury null and void.
Unpacking
WARNING!
Appliances supplied without a tted
electrical plug must be connected by a
professional authorized installer.
CAUTION!
Always transport the appliance in
accordance with the directional
arrows shown on the packaging.
Do not tilt the appliance.
Environmental conditions
For the location in which the appliance is to be
operated, the following environmental checks must
be done prior to installation and operation of the
appliance:
Check the voltage power supply.
Check the water pressure.
Check the water quality. Only water of human
drinking quality or purication should be used for the
appliance!
Check the ambient temperature (=t).

WARNING!
During installation, always follow
local and national regulations and
standards with regard to the safety of
electrical appliances.
Installation
Placement
Place the appliance on a at horizontal surface
capable of supporting the weight of the appliance.
Place an appliance that is tted with an electrical
plug near an easily accessible earthed wall socket.
If the appliance is not supplied with a tted electrical
plug, ensure that a professional authorized
electrician establishes a permanent connection
point to the appliance protected by an earth leakage
circuit breaker of 30 mA in which all phases and the
NEUTRAL connection can easily be disconnected
(minimum 3 mm contact distance).
The appliance must be earthed.
Place an appliance that is to be lled with water
near an easy-to-operate water connection point.
Place an appliance from which water must be
drained near a water discharge point.
Always use the new food-approved hose set that is
supplied with an appliance. Old hose sets should
not be used.
Make sure that there is sufcient space around
the appliance for ventilation. Always keep the front
and back of the appliance accessible for repair
purposes.
Do not tilt an appliance more than 5°.
The apparatus shall only be placed in an area where
it can be overseen by trained personnel.
Never place the appliance in the following
environments:
In an area where water is sprayed.
In areas close to entrances, exits or passageways
intended for emergency services.
In a room where the temperature can drop to below
0°C / 32°F.
CAUTION!
If the appliance does become frozen,
disconnect the power and water
supply to the appliance and call the
service engineer.
Instructions specic to cold water appliances
Wait at least one hour for the appliance to settle
before using.
