8. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Counter Measure
Unable to download
phonebook.
Cause
Phone is not connected with
BLT573.
Connect the phone with BLT573.
Please refer to your car stereo and
mobile phone owner’s manual for
pairing.
Phone does not have the relevant
Bluetooth
®
profile.
Use a phone with required
Blue-
tooth
®
profile supported or consult
your Clarion dealer.
Internal memory full. Delete unused paired device to free
more space.
Unable to pair with the
phone.
Bluetooth
®
is not activated on the
phone.
Activate
Bluetooth
®
on the phone.
Call is not interrupted to
the car stereo.
Telephone interrupt mode is off.
Set the telephone interrupt function
to ON.
Cannot automatic connect
the phone.
The BLT573 may be connected
to another mobile phone or your
phone may be connected to
another
Bluetooth
®
device, such as
headset.
Disconnect the other
Bluetooth
®
device and reconnect again.
If your mobile phone is able to
select profile, please select the
handsfree profile.
If your mobile phone is unable to
select profile, please delete the
pairing information on both mobile
phone and main unit and pair
again.
Maximum 5 paired devices have
reached.
Delete one of the paired devices
and redo the pairing.
Bluetooth
®
is not activated on the
phone.
Activate
Bluetooth
®
on the phone.
Automatic connection setting is
OFF.
Please turn on automatic connec-
tion.
No automatic answering
during incoming call.
The automatic answering setting
is OFF.
Turn on the automatic answering
setting.
Cannot operate the hands-
free function properly.
No response from mobile phone. Turn off and on the mobile phone.
The caller side is unable to
hear any sound.
Microphone may be disconnected. Please check the microphone con-
nection.
It is difficult for the caller
to hear.
Mircophone gain/sensitivity setting
is not suitable for current enviro-
ment.
Please adjust the setting accord-
ingly.
The BLT573 is automatically con-
nected to previously connected
mobile phone.
Set the auto connection option to
OFF and re-connect the mobile
phone.
Cannot connect to the car
handsfree.
