RS-232 DCE console port for Switch management
Ports
♦ 16 or 24 High-performance ports for connecting to end stations, servers and
hubs (MDI-X 10/100 Ethernet UTP ports and 1 MDI-X/MDI-II Uplink port).
♦ All UTP ports can auto-negotiate between 10Mbps/100Mbps, half-duplex, or
full duplex and flow control.
♦ One front panel slide-in module interface for the DES-122G 2 port 1000BASE-
SX (SC type connector), DES-122GL 2 port 1000BASE-LX, DES-122GB 2 port
GBIC, DES-122T 2 port 1000BASE-T, and DES-122GM 2 port 1000BASE-SX
(MTRJ type connector) for connecting to another switch, server or network
backbone.

RS-232 DCE Diagnostic port (console port) for setting up and managing the
Switch via a connection to a console terminal or PC using a terminal emulation
program.

Note: This module requires using a GBIC converter. Contact your D-Link vendor for

1000BASE-LX GBIC FTR-1319-3A (Finisar).
