FUNCTION AND FEATURES
The travel steam iron is a new product, which combines dry and steam ironing. The unique design makes this
iron ideal for travelling. This unit also substitutes dual voltage (worldwide compatible)
SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read the instruments manual carefully before operating this appliance.
2. This product is used for ironing clothes.
3. Please check if the power cord, plug, socket and iron are in good order, if broken, stop using immediately
and make it repaired at an authorized service-station.
4. Don’t immerse iron into water or other liquids to avoid leakage.
5. Please keep the iron out of reach of children, and if turned on never leave it unsupervised to avoid any
danger.
6. Don’t plug in the unit before pouring water in or out.
7. Keep the power cord away from the hot soleplate to avoid damage.
8. Always if check the voltage selector is the same as the local voltage level.
9. After ironing, unplug the unit, turn off the steam and temperature button and place it upright.
WARNING: Compare the local voltage with the voltage declared on the device. Adjust the correct voltage
before plugging the unit (6).
PREPERATION BEFORE USE:
1. Clean the soleplate and the steam holes.
2. Filling water
3. Learn function of thermostat
4. Flatten clothes before ironing
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRY IRONING:
1. Connect the iron to a suitable mains supply outlet.
2. Adjust temperature scale according to the fiber you are ironing.
3. Start ironing after indication light turns off (the soleplate is heated).
4. Close the thermostat and unplug the after use.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
1. Unplug the iron
2. Set the steam button to dry ironing
3. Fill the tank through the filling hole.
- If you have hard water ,it is advisable to use only distilled or demineralized water.
- do not use chemically de-limed water or perfumed
4. Do not store the iron with water in the tank.
Note: Always empty the water tank after use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR STEAM IRONING:
1. Plug in the unit.
2. Adjust temperature scale to max position and heat the unit. Steam ironing is only possible when the high-
est temperatures shown on the temperature control are selected. Otherwise, water may escape through
the soleplate.
3. The pilot light turns off when the required temperature is reached. The iron is ready for use.
5. Turn the steam button to the required position.
6. When the ironing is finished and during breaks in ironing, place the iron in its upright position.
5. Close the thermostat and unplug the unit after use.
6. Pour any remaining water out of the water tank.
7. Stand the iron upright and let it cool down completely.
SHOT OF STEAM
Shot of steam give extra steam for removing persistent wrinkles.
1. Place the temperature selector at the “max” position and wait until the pilot light goes out
2. Wait for a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the bre before pressing again.
NOTE : For the best steam quality, do not use more than three successive bursts each time. Several pumping
actions are needed to start this function.
Excessive use of this feature will cause the iron to cool, ensure that the pilot light is out, before operating the
shot of steam control
CLEANING AND MAINTENACE:
1. Fill water to half position of tank and put the iron on holder.
2. Plug the unit and set the thermostat scale to max. position.
3. The indication light will turn off as soon the unit has reached the desired heat.
4. For cleaning the steam chamber press the steam button as long as the watertank is empty.
5. Iron an old cloth, until the iron is completly dry. (water tank empty)
6. Close the thermostat control and unplug the appliance.
7. Cool down the iron and clean it with a soft damp cloth.
8. Press release button and tilt the handgrip 90 degrees.
