boiling water and steam will be released through

the soleplate, carrying limescale and/or deposits

that may be inside. Duringtheprocess,abeepwill

beheardevery5seconds.

7 Afterapproximately3minutes,theironwillstop

releasingsteam.Alongbeepwillbeheard,indicating

thatdescalingprocesshasnished.Theappliancewill

switchoffautomatically.

8 Tocleanthesoleplate(17),immediatelyruboffany

residuebyrunningthehotironoverawetcottoncloth.

3 Tokeepthesoleplatesmooth,youshouldavoid

contactwithhardmetalobjects.Neveruseascouring

pad,orchemicalstocleanthesoleplate.
