4.5 ESC/P 2 Select Printing Speed Command

This is a recently introduced ESC/P2 command for selecting the printing speed.

Format:

Parameter range:

0 ≤ n ≤ 2

Series Two Printers

None

Series Three Printers

None

Series Four Printers

Stylus COLOR 600, Stylus COLOR 800, Stylus COLOR 850, Stylus COLOR

1520, and Stylus COLOR 3000

Function:

- Selects the printing speed as follows:

n Printing Speed CR Speed

00H default 20 IPS

01H speed 1 20 IPS

02H speed 2 10 IPS

Notes:

- This command is printer model dependent.

- When printing at 1440x720 (H x V), speed 2 should be selected
