3. Raise the hand and attach the Smart indicator AGU STI2
just below the armpit. Be sure to place the Smart indicator
as close to the axillary as possible and place it the same
way as on the picture is shown.
WARNING
Ideal temperature monitoring points are body
cavities close to major blood vessels: the mouth,
rectum, under-arm (axillary) and eardrum. Tem-
perature measured from other position can’t be
considered as core body temperature of human
being which might cause wrong judgement.
USING A SMART TEMPERATURE INDICATOR AGU STI2
WITH A ONE-SIDED STICKER
To use the one-sided sticker will further avoid movement of
the Smart temperature indicator AGU STI2.
1. Remove the protective layer of the one-sided sticker.
2. Use the sticker to x the Smart indicator which already
attached on the under-arm.
3. Make sure that the button hole in the one-sided sticker
matches the button on the device case.
START MONITORING
1. Turn on the device.
The device will continuously monitor the tempera-
ture and transfer the results to the application every
4 seconds.
2. Hold the arm tight for at least 20 min for temperature
stablization.
By pressing the arm tight with body, the device is full sur-
rendered by body which shortens stable time and accuracy.
If the arm is hold to the body naturally, the stabilization pe-
riod might be longer.
WARNING
The Smart temperature indicator AGU ST2 is not
designed for quick monitoring purpose, it is used
for long period continuous monitoring of temper-
ature. Therefore, a certain stabilization period is
needed to reach the actual axillary temperature as
following chart:
