Many guitarists use our Crybaby Wah pedals in station-

ary positions, to get a quickly selectable nasal, vocal

or ange-like tone. The CRYBABY® QZ-1 Q Zone stomp

box performs this job even better than a wah rocker

pedal because you can recall a specic setting with

ease. The Q Zone features the same tone controls as

the 95Q pedal, but with “stay-put” knobs to keep your

settings stable.

It has four controls for exibility:

1. The Footswitch toggles the effect on/bypass.

The red LED indicates effect is on. To turn the

QZ-1 off, unplug your cords.

2. The Variable Q control adjusts the bandwidth

(intensity) of the effect.

3. The Volume control selects up to 18dB of added

gain to your signal.

4. The Peak knob manually selects the frequency

center of the effect, serving the same function as

the wah rocker pedal.

POWER REQUIREMENTS

The QZ-1 CRYBABY Q Zone uses one 9-volt battery.

The battery access is through the bottom of the pedal.

The QZ-1 uses the Dunlop ECB-03 (ECB-03E for Europe),

a 9-volt DC regulated AC adapter. Plug polarity is positive

on the barrel and negative in the center.

NOTE: Battery must be installed to operate the QZ-1

unless an AC adapter is used.
