• Keep the appliance away from children.

• Use the kettle only with the base unit supplied, and do not use the base unit for any other purposes.

• Never remove the kettle from its base unit while in operation. Switch the appliance off rst.

• Take care to close the lid properly before switching on, Otherwise, the appliance will not switch off automatically and hot water

may overow.

• The kettle is intended for water heating only, and is not to be used for any other liquids.

BEFORE USE

• Remove all packing material from the kettle.

• Before connecting of the kettle check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your home.

• Place the lter.

• Fill the kettle with cool water up to the “MAX” mark and boil it. Empty the kettle. The appliance is ready for use.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

FILTER PLACING

• Open the lid by pressing on the lid open button.

• Place the lter between the two grooves near the spout at the front of the kettle.

• Ensure that the lter is pressed down to the bottom of the grooves and ts correctly then close the lid.

NOTE: Never leave the lter loose in the kettle. Never remove the lter while the kettle contains hot water.

FILLING

• Remove the kettle from the base unit.

• You can ll the kettle with water via the spout or opening the lid.

• Do not ll with less than 0.5 liters of water (below to “MIN” mark) to prevent the heating element running dry while operating.

• Do not ll with more than 1.7 liters of water (up to “MAX” mark). Avoid overlling to prevent the water spilling out during the boil-

ing process.

SWITCHING ON

• After lling your kettle with water, place the kettle on the base unit.

• Connect plug to power supply and press On/Off switch. The appliance will begin to operate and the inner indicator light will come on.
