1. Usethestraighteningmode.

• Setthecurling/straighteningslideswitchto'open'.(Fig.8)

2. Combyourhair.

3. Withthetankontheoutside,closethepressplateandbarrelaroundthehairsothatthelockofhairisinthecenterof

thebarrel.

• Takeabout5-cm-widelockofhair.

(1)Whenstraighteninghair,donotusewithmorethanonelockofhairatatime.

(2)Besuretokeepthebarrelatleast3cmawayfrombareskin.

4. Straightenthehaironcewhilepressingthetanktoreleasesteam,(forapprox.3seconds)(Fig.9)

• Slidethestylingironslowlytowardstheendsofthehair.(Donotstophalfwayorreversedirection.)

Waitatleast15secondsbeforeusingthesteamagain.Steamwillnotbereleasedunlessyouwaitforanother

15seconds.

5. Straightenthehairwithoutusingsteamonceortwice.

• Slidethestylingironslowlytowardstheendsofthehair.(Forhard-to-straightenhair,repeatseveraltimes.)
