1. General Information
Assembly and installation should only be
carried out by qualified personnel!
1.1 Uses
The circulating pump is used to transport liquids in
warm water heating systems.
Under no circumstances may the pump come in
contact with drinking water or foodstuffs.

1.2.2 Connection and output data
Flow media:
Heating water acc. to VDI 2035.
Water glycol mixtures containing up to 50 % gly-
col. Should glycol be added to the liquid, the flow
data must be adapted to correspond to the
higher viscosity. Only brand products with anti-
corrosion inhibitors should be used. The manu-
facturer’s instructions must always be strictly
adhered to.
If another medium is to be used, it must be
cleared by KSB.
Temperature range of the flow medium: +20 °C to
+110°C.
Max. ambient temperature: 40 °C.
In order to avoid the build up of condensation water,
the temperature of the room must be lower the
temperature of the flow medium.

These values are valid up to a height of 300 m
above sea level. For situations above this height
add 0.01 bar for every additional 100 m.

mation on the pump/motor rating plate.
2. Safety
These instructions contain important information which
must be followed when installing and operating the
pump. It is therefore imperative that they be read by
both the installer and the operator before the pump is
installed or started up.
Both the general safety points in this section and the
more specific safety points in the following sections
should be noted.

2.2 Staff training
The personnel installing the pump must have the
appropriate qualifications for this work.
2.3 Risks incurred by failure to comply with
the safety precautions
Failure to comply with the safety precautions could
result in personal injury or damage to the pump or
installation. Failure to comply with the safety precau-
tions could also invalidate any claim for damages.
