Easy access seal
(Fig. 16)
1. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (914.3).
2. Lift the seal lid (471) out of the drive lantern (161) using two screwdrivers.
3. Remove the rotating unit of the mechanical seal (433) from the shaft using the tool (969) and a
screwdriver.
4. Remove the O-ring (412.6) from the seal cover (471).
5. Remove the counter ring of the mechanical seal (433) from the seal cover (471).

1. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (914.3).
2. Loosen the three headless screws (904).
3. Remove the seal cover (471) with the mechanical seal (433) from the drive lantern (161).
4. Loosen the headless screws (904) completely and remove the ring.
5. Remove seal cover (471).
6. Remove the counter ring of the mechanical seal (433) and O-ring from the seal cover (471).
7. Remove the rotating unit of the mechanical seal (433) and O-ring from the shaft sleeve.
