3. The display does not
start and the machine
emits a sound when
pressing the power but-
ton (type "II"/"III" handle
- Advanced Series).
Internal motor anomaly. Remove the safety key and contact your
Dealer or the Authorised Service Centre
for checks, replacements or repairs.
4. The engine is run-
ning but the cutting
means does not rotate
(type "I" handle).
The cutting means ttings are loose. Immediately turn o the motor
and remove the safety key.
Contact the Authorised Service Centre for
checks, replacements or repairs (par. 8.1).
5. The motor shuts down
whilst working.
Battery is not inserted correctly. Open the hatch and check that the battery
is tted in its housing correctly (par. 7.2.4).
Low battery. Check the battery status and recharge
if necessary (par. 7.2.3).
Obstructions that prevent
rotation of the cutting means.
Remove the safety key, wear work gloves and
remove grass or debris from the lower part of
the machine and/or from the discharge chute.
6. The engine stops dur-
ing operation and the
machine emits a sound
(type "I" handle).
The thermal protection has tripped
due to overheating of the motor.
Wait for at least 5 minutes and
restart the machine.
Thermal protection has tripped due to
excessive current absorption caused by:
Excessively high grass cutting.
Obstructions that prevent
rotation of the cutting means.
Too much grass debris
accumulated inside the chassis
and discharge chute.
Set a higher cutting height when the
grass is very tall, then set a lower height
and cut the lawn again (par. 6.4.1).
Remove the obstructions (par. 7.3.2).
Clean the machine (par. 7.3.1)
Wait for at least 5 minutes and
restart the machine.
7. The display shows
ER3 (Fig.36.B) (type
"II"/"III" handle - Ad-
vanced Series).
The thermal protection has tripped

ER3 (Fig.36.B) (type
"II"/"III" handle - Ad-
vanced Series).
Anomaly in the electrical
connection of battery and motor.
Remove the safety key and contact your
Dealer or the Authorised Service Centre
for checks, replacements or repairs.
11. The display shows
ER2 (Fig.36.B) (type
"II"/"III" handle - Ad-
vanced Series).
Cutting means blocked. Turn the machine o, remove the
safety key and wear work gloves.
Check and eventually remove any obstructions
in the machine lower side (par. 7.3.2) that
prevent rotation of the cutting means.
If the problem continues, contact the
Authorised Service Centre for checks,
replacements or repairs (par. 8.1).
