7. POWER TOOL ELEMENTS INSTALLATION

AND REGULATION

Before carrying out any procedure, centre the rota-

tional direction selector switch (8) to lock the switch

and prevent the tool's untimely start-up.

Do not over tighten the calibration

elements to avoid damaging the thread.

Assembly/tool replacement (Fig. 1)

With intensive use the drill bit can

become very hot. Use gloves to remove

the bit.

• Open the chuck jaws (1) by turning the front part,

as shown in (Fig. 1).

• Assemble/replace the tool.

• Tighten the chuck (1), as shown in (Fig. 1).

Screwdriver bits/magnetic support (Fig. 2)

Use a magnetic support (not included) for short

screwdriver bits, so they are securely fixed (Fig. 2)

The magnetic support is not necessary if double-ended

bits are used, especially for screwdrivers.

8. HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERY

The power tool's battery (2) comes partially charged.

The battery (2) must be fully charged before the

first use.

Charging process (Fig. 3)

• Set the rotational direction selector switch (8) to

the centre position.

• Press the battery latch's flange (3) down and remove

the battery (2).

• Connect the power unit (11) to the charger (12).

• Connect the power unit (11) to the power supply.

• Insert the battery (2) into the charger (12) (Fig. 3).

• Once charged, remove it from the charger (12) and

put the battery in the tool.

• Disconnect the power unit (11) from the power supply.

The battery (2) and the charger (12)

get hot during the charging process.

This is completely normal.

9. TURNING THE POWER TOOL ON/OFF

Make sure the rotational direction selector switch

(8) is not in a centred position; this blocks the on/

off switch (7).

Turn on: Press the on/off switch (7).

Turn off: Release the on/off switch (7).

10. DESIGN FEATURES OF THE POWER TOOL

Temperature protection

The temperature protection system allows the power

tool to be automatically deactivated in case of ex-

cessive load or when the battery's (2) temperature

exceeds 70°C. The system protects the power tool

from damage in the event of non-compliance with

the conditions of use.

LED light

By pressing the on/off switch (7), the LED light (4)

turns on automatically and allows you to perform

tasks in low light conditions.

Torque regulator

Turn the regulator (5) to select one of the 18 most

suitable torque setting for the work to be done.

Set the torque regulator (5) to the

"Drill" setting to perform the drilling.

Gradual speed setting

The speed is controlled from 0 to the

maximum speed by pressing the on/off

switch (7). A light pressure produces

low revolutions, which allows the power

tool to start smoothly

Double speed switch

Change the revolutions per minute

(rpm) range only after the motor has

completely stopped.
