the upright position and wait approximately 3 hours
before connecting it to the electrical outlet to guar-
antee that it operates prorerly.
Before plac ing foodstuffs in the refrigerator or freezer,
clean the interior well with warm water and baking
soda.
After having plugged the appliance in, make sure that pilot
lamp “A” is light.
Set knob ‘B’ onto a medium position and c an plac e food in the
fridge after only a few hours.
When the freezer has reached the optimum tem perature, you
can plac e frozen food in the freezer.
The thermostat automatic ally regulates the temperature
inside the applianc e
1
= less c old
5
= colder
It is recom m ended that a medium setting be used.
To increase the amount of space, optimize arrangem ent
and improve appearanc e, this applianc e has a “cooling
area loc ated within the back panel of the refrigerator
compartm ent.
When the appliance is operating, this panel m ay be
covered with frost or droplets of water depending on
whether the com pressor is operating or not at a set time.
Do not be concerned about this! The refrigerator is
operating norm ally.
If the thermostat knob is positioned on higher settings
while the refrigerator is heavily filled and the ambient tem-
perature is high, the appliance m ay run continuously, re-
sulting in the formation of frost on the back cooling area.
This will lead to an increase in energy consumption.
To avoid this situation, just turn the thermostat knob to a
lower setting so that the appliance defrosts auto-
matically.

Citrus fruits.
Potatoes and root vegetables (store in dark, dry plac es).
- Within the refrigerator c ompartment, the air circulates
naturally, with the colder air falling down bec ause it is
heavier. This is the reason why meat and cheeses should
be plac ed above the vegetable c ontainer.
- Please follow our instruc tions carefully on m aximum stor-
age time: any food, even the freshest, will not remain edi-
ble for any extended amount of time.
- Do not place liquids in c ontainers without c overing them
because this will lead to an increase in the level of mois-
ture within the refrigerator, causing the form ation of frost.
- Rem ember to cool hot food before storing otherwise the
temperature inside the applianc e will increase, causing
the c ompressor to work harder and use m ore energy.
- Contrary to popular belief, cooked foods are not stored
any longer than raw food.
- The refrigerator compartment is equipped with conven-
ient, rem ovable shelves, whic h can be adjusted for
height using the shelf guides. This allows you to plac e even
large c ontainers and foodstuffs in the refrigerator.
- Be careful not to place containers (plastic or glass), food
or other objects in direct c ontact with the cooling area of
the back wall of the refrigerator. This could harm the food,
in-crease energy consumption and fac ilitate the form ation
of c ondensate (on food, c ontainers, etc.).
