- Use the above tables to determine the capacities of indoor units to be connected make sure the total capacity of indoor units connected to each outdoor unit is within the specified value kw the total capacity of connected indoor units must be within a range of 50 to 130 of the rated capacity of the outdoor unit in some models it is not possible to connect the maximum number of connectable indoor units select models so the total capacity of connected indoor units conforms to the specification 20
