Clearing a Blockage
If the cleaner loses suction this may be due to clogged lters or a
blockage.
DO NOT operate the cleaner if the suction is impaired. If you suspect a
blockage: Switch o and unplug the cleaner immediately. Empty the
dust, check all the lters and clean them. If this does not remove the
blockage: Check the hose, extension tube and accessories visually and
remove any blockage with a stick or broom handle.
When you have nished vacuuming:
Switch o, unplug the cleaner and rewind the power cord.
Empty the dust cup and clean the dust cup lter
Emptying the Dust Cup (Pic. 7-9)
Empty the dust cup vacuuming, and always after vacuuming to maintain
ecient cleaning performance. The maximum dirt level is reached when
the dirt reaches the MAX mark which is on the Dust Cup. You should
empty the Dust before it reaches this level. Failure to do this will impair
the eciency of the cleaner.
Switch the cleaner o and unplug it. Press the dust cup release and then
carefully remove the dust cup from the cleaner.
Invert the dust cup over a bin. Press the catch on the lid which will pop
open. Shake and tap the dust cup lightly to remove as much dust as
possible. Close the lid. If you wish to continue vacuuming, replace the
cup. If you have nished vacuuming refer to the Cleaning instructions on
the next page.
