- Cleaning and maintenance 1 switch the clipper off ensure it is unplugged from the mains and charger 2 remove the cutting blade by gently easing backwards until it pops out of its clips see fig 1 2 5
- Connect the comb to the clipper by locating the combs side tabs into the groves at each side of the clipper head 5

- For even cutting allow the comb to cut its way through the hair do not force it through quickly also remember to comb the hair frequently to remove trimmed hair and to check for uneven strands 5 switch on by pushing the on off switch upwards 6 switch off when not in use push the on off switch downward the blades will stop moving 7 if the clipper becomes blocked by excess hair while cutting switch the hair clipper off if operating from the mains unplug remove the cutting comb and lightly brush hair from the clipper blades using the cleaning brush provided before resuming use alternatively hold the blades under a run ning tap for a few seconds but do not fully immerse the unit under water note if the blades are moving slowly or do not move they may be dirty or clogged to clean follow instructions in section cleaning and maintenance 5
