Tuning radio stations manually

1 Switch on the hi-ﬁ system by pressing »8«.

2 Press »RADIO« to select TUNER as the input

source.

– Display: »FM TUNER«.

3 Set the radio station by brieﬂy pressing »E« or

»F« repeatedly.

– Display: the frequency changes in steps of

50 kHz;

press and hold down »E« or »F« until the fre-

quency changes to rapid run-through.

4 Conﬁrm the radio station by pressing

»PROG ¥«.

5 Select the preset by pressing »G« or »H«.

6 Save the setting by pressing »PROG ¥«.

7 To tune additional radio stations, repeat steps

3 to 6.

Note:

The radio station that was stored on the pre-

set is overwritten.

Setting the brightness of the

display

The brightness of the display can be set sepa-

rately for standby and operation modes.

1 Change the brightness by repeatedly pressing

»MENU

« in standby or operation mode.

– You have a choice of four brightness levels.

Note:

To minimise power consumption during

standby, set the display brightness to "Mini-

mum".
