TIMER MODE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your hi-fi system has three timer modes:
– The switch-on timer, which switches the hi-fi
system on at a preset time and wakes you
with the input source you selected.
– The reminder timer, which reminds you by
sounding the signal tone at a preset time.
– The sleep timer, which switches the hi-fi sys-
tem off at a preset time.
Notes:

You can only set the timer mode with the but-
tons on the remote control.

The time has to be set on the hi-fi system.

When this setting is being made, if no button
is pushed for more than 10 seconds, the hi-
fi system will end the process automatically.
You then have to start again.
Switch-on timer
Setting the switch-on timer
1 Switch the hi-fi system to standby mode by
pressing »8«.
2 Press »≈« from the switched off state.
– Display: »OFF« flashes.
3 Select the display »ON« by pressing »E« or »F«
and confirm with »≈«.
– Display: »BUZZER«, the hours of the switch-off
time flash.
4 Enter the hours of the switch-on time with »E«
or »F« and confirm with »≈«.
Enter the minutes of the switch-on time with »E«
or »F« and confirm with »≈«.
– Display: the last input source selected flash-
es.
5 Select the input source (buzzer, FM, CD, SD
or USB) by pressing »E« or »F« and confirm
with »≈«.
Note:

If you selected the signal source CD, SD or
USB and the file is damaged or there is no
CD in the CD compartment or no auxiliary
device is connected, the hi-fi automatically
switches on with the signal tone (buzzer).
6 Set the volume with »E« or »F« and confirm
with »≈«.
– Display: »≈« and »§« or »e« and the cur-
rent time.
– The switch-on timer is activated.
Activating and deactivating the
alarm
1 Deactivate the alarm by pressing »≈« once
briefly.
– Display: »§« or »e« disappear when the
switch-on timer is deactivated.
