COOKING GUIDE:
Using the Cooking Guide, you may receive recommendations ( such as the cooking
function to be selected, the Temperature setting, tray position) regarding the food you
intend to cook. Selecting the Cooking Guide menu at the main menu screen and scrolling
through the available food menus with is the way to do.
Assuming the red meat food menu is on the screen:
On the left hand side of the screen , the recommended cooking function ( you are advised to bring your
cooking function selector to this position ) and the recommended Temperature Setting ( you are advised to
set the oven temperature knob accordingly ) are displayed, on the right hand side the recommended tray
position is displayed.
Pressing the button, you may directly access the COOKING menu, where you can set a cooking
duration as described before in this document.

Upon power up ( after long mains power interrupts ), the screen will be in standby mode with
very low brightness. In order to wake up / activate the Timer, this button has to be pressed.
Pressing this button
for 2 seconds
when the Timer is active but no cooking program is in
progress, will result in entering the standby mode again.
When scrolling through menus, this button has the funct ion of returning to the previous step or
menu , progressive activation will end with the idle mode screen. In case of a running cooking
program, pressing this button is used to pause and/or cancel the program.
This button is used for accessing the main menu screen. In some cases, it will directly link to
the menu(s) allowed only; when pressed during a running cooking program, the alarm
adjust ment menu, when pressed after pausing a cooking program with to the cooking edit
menu.
Used for scrolling upwards within menu items or for increasing any timing parameter during
any adjustment mode.
Used for scrolling downwards within menu items or for decreasing any timing parameter
during any adjustment mode.
To select a highlighted menu item or accept any ( adjusted ) parameter visible on the screen.

Please note that at the second step in the above illustration, instant cooking has been selected, however
it is also possible to delay the cooking process as described before in this document ( DELAYED
COOKING ).
ALARM:
The device has an alarm function, independent of the cooking functions and program.
The duration, after which the alarm should sound, can be programmed in terms of hours,
minutes and seconds in multiples of 5 seconds. The example below shows, how to set an
alarm to be sound after 5 minutes and 15 seconds.
During the adjustment, the time of day, at which the alarm will start, is shown at the bottom right side
of the screen.
Another example, showing an alarm program ,to sound after more than 10 minutes , is shown below:
Please note that, when the alarm duration left is less than 10 minutes, the remaining time is shown on
top of the display ( in front ) , wheras when it is more than 10 minutes, the alarm time of day is shown
there ( in front ) .
INFO: The alarm function is independent of any other time based setting. So, a
cooking program can be programmed when this function is active or vice versa..
