The appliance remains in stand-
by mode for around 10 sec-
onds before it can be switched
on again with the speed set-
ting touch controls

While charging, the adapter
may become warm. This is nor-
mal and safe and does not indi-
cate a malfunction of any kind.

If the appliance has not been
used for a long period, the ca-
pacity of the battery may de-
crease by a certain amount. Full
capacity will be restored after
several charge/discharge cy-
cles.

We recommend not to recharge
the batteries after each use, es-
pecially if the appliance is not
used for the full 45 minute run-
ning time. Occasionally let the
battery run down completely be-
fore recharging to maintain its
life span. It is good practice to
recharge the appliance occa-
sionally and not daily.
Mains Operation
When the batteries are run down,
it is possible to use the appliance
from the mains via the adapter.
1 Insert the adapter lead into the
socket

2 If the battery is too low, allow
5-10 minutes charging before
using the trimmer by mains.
