q VOLUME CONTROL [VOL]
Turns power ON and adjusts the audio level. (p. 9)
w SQUELCH CONTROL [SQL]
Sets the squelch threshold level. (p. 9)
e PTT SWITCH [PTT]
Transmits during push; receives during release. (p. 9)
r MONITOR SWITCH [MONI]
➥Opens the squelch and monitors the operating channel
while being pushed.
➥While turning power ON, enters the SET mode and is
used to select the SET mode contents when pushed. (p.

t BATTERY PACK RELEASE BUTTON
• To remove the battery pack:
Slide the battery release but-
ton upwards, then lift up the battery pack.
• To attach the battery pack:
Mate the notched ends of the
transceiver and the battery pack, and click the battery pack
into place firmly. Ensure the battery that is properly attached.
