Battery jams when being inserted in power

Battery is not being charged even though the

light emitting diode on the charger glows

Battery too hot / too cold

(1 light emitting diode on battery glows

Allow battery to cool down / allow battery

to warm up slowly at temperature of

about 15°C - 20°C

Operate charger only in closed, dry

rooms at ambient temperatures between

+5°C and +40°C

Light emitting diode on charger flashes red

No electrical contact between charger

and battery

Remove the battery and refit it again

Fault in battery

(4 light emitting diodes on battery flash

red for about 5 seconds)

Take the battery out of the power tool

and refit it. Switch on the power tool – if

the light emitting diodes still flash, the

battery is faulty and must be replaced.

Fault in charger Have charger checked by servicing

dealer

Machine is difficult to push

Side broom or roller brush blocked Remove blockage.

Wrong sweeping pressure setting Set sweeping pressure to suit surface

being cleaned

Gearbox components do not run freely Spray gearbox components with STIHL

silicon spray

STIHL recommends a STIHL servicing dealer.

Always remove the battery before carrying out any work on the power tool.
