1 Important Safety Information

 Read the operating instructions carefully before using the device.

 Always keep the manual in the vicinity of the device and hand it over to

other device users.

 Prevent exposure to smoke, dust, dirt, shocks, chemicals, moisture,

heat or direct sunlight and keep it away from water, liquids and

chemical solvents because these could get into the device and damage

the electronics.

 Do not use the thermometer in the direct vicinity of a mobile phone.

Risk of malfunction!

 Do not use the thermometer if the ear in which it is to be used has a

disorder.

 Do not touch the measuring sensor with your fingers.

 The thermometer is an electronic device and must not be used as a toy

by children.

2 Intended Use

The digital ear thermometer serves to measure the body temperature at the

ear. Due to the short measuring time necessary and its high precision, the

device is particularly suitable for measuring the body temperature of babies

and small children. Any other use is considered unintended use.

Unauthorised modification or reconstruction is not permitted. Under no cir-

cumstances open the device or complete any repair work yourself.
