5 Operation

1. To take the temperature, put the nipple into the baby’s/infant’s

mouth.

2. Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the appliance on; the display

The thermometer is ready for use. The temperature computed

last is displayed as 37.0 °C (L0). °C" flashes on the display.

3. If the ambient temperature is above 32 °C, the temperature is

shown and measuring starts.

4. If the computed temperature is above 44 °C, the display reads

H °C.

5. If the temperature is below 32 °C, the display reads L0 °C.

6. When the temperature remains unchanged it is shown as °C,

°C" stops flashing, and an acoustic signal is sounded ten times.

7. When measuring is complete remove the nipple from the baby’s/

infant’s mouth.

8. Turn the appliance off to save battery power. If you do not, the ap-

pliance will turn itself off after 10 minutes. In case measuring is

interrupted, start again and repeat the above steps.
