COMPRAG Heatless adsorption compressed air dryers ADX Series
3.3 Preparation of facility.
Installing the dryer in unsuitable conditions may lead to dimin-
ished performance due to overload. Such instances are not
covered by warranty.
The minimum requirements for installation are as follows:
• Choose a clean, dry and dust-free facility which is shielded from the outdoors.
• The oor should be level, horizontal and support the weight of the dryer.
• The minimum ambient temperature is +5°C.
• The maximum ambient temperature is +45°C.
• There should be clearance provided on all sides of the dryer to allow access for carry
-
ing out maintenance work.
No oor fastening is required for the dryer.
3.4 Connections to compressed air line
All work associated with connecting compressor equipment must be carried out with the
pneumatic system not under pressure.
Connecting to the compressed air line should only be carried out by a qualied specialist.
The temperature and amount of air entering the dryer must correspond to the values given
in table 2.1.
Exceeding the permitted pressure may lead to injury of the oper-
ator and damage to equipment. The user shall bear responsibility
for the consequences of exceeding pressure beyond the value
given on the dryer’s identication plate.
When using this item, the pneumatic system must be tted with a prelter for cleaning
the compressed air of oil (0.01 mg/m2 permitted oil content) and an outlet (dust) lter for
protecting from adsorbent dust.
Comprag AF-series lters are recommended for installation.
Please contact your dealer for help in choosing the right lter.
Using the adsorption air dryer without the specied lters may
cause the adsorbent to lose its functional characteristics or cause
blockage of the equipment that is consuming the compressed air.
The user must install lters. Claims are not covered by warranty
and are disregarded in cases where such lters are not used.
Dimensions and performance characteristics of hoses and valves must correspond to the
volume and pressure of supplied air. Underestimation may lead to depressurization of the
system and cause injury to the operator and equipment damage.
