2-6 Back Panel Connectors
Q-Flash Plus Button
(Note)
Q-Flash Plus allows you to update the BIOS when your system is off (S5 shutdown state). Save the latest
BIOS on a USB thumb drive and plug it into the dedicated port, and then you can now ash the BIOS
automatically by simply pressing the Q-Flash Plus button. The Q-Flash Plus button will ash when the BIOS
matching and ashing activities start and will stop ashing when the main BIOS ashing is complete.
OC Ignition button
The OC Ignition button allows overclockers and DIY users to pre-test water cooling setups when building
up their computers without needing to boot the system. It also allows the system fans to keep spinning
at a low temperature and allows for a rmware update even without a CPU installed. Visit GIGABYTE's

SMA Antenna Connectors (2T2R)
Use this connector to connect an antenna.
USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A Port (Red)
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 port supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 specication and is compatible to the USB 3.2 Gen 1
and USB 2.0 specication. Use this port for USB devices.
USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A Port (Red) (Q-Flash Plus Port)
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 port supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 specication and is compatible to the USB 3.2 Gen 1
and USB 2.0 specication. Use this port for USB devices. Before using Q-Flash Plus

RJ-45 LAN Port (LAN2)
The Gigabit Ethernet LAN port provides Internet connection at up to 2.5 Gbps data rate. The following
describes the states of the LAN port LEDs.
Tighten the antennas to the antenna connectors and then aim the antennas correctly for better
signal reception.
• When removing the cable connected to a back panel connector, rst remove the cable from your
device and then remove it from the motherboard.
• When removing the cable, pull it straight out from the connector. Do not rock it side to side to
prevent an electrical short inside the cable connector.

- Step 2 remove the protective film from the thermal pad on the m connector insert the m ssd into the m connector at an angle step 3 press down on the front end of the m ssd and make sure the m ssd is secured by the m ez latch plus clip remove the protective film from the bottom of the motherboard heatsink and then replace the heatsink and tighten the screws diagonally 24
