Microwave Oven SMW 6023DS CHILD LOCK To avoid accidental operation of the oven by small children you can set child lock function After setting the child lock you cannot operate the oven To set the child lock press and hold STOP CANCEL button for 3 seconds Once the child lock is set a beep sounds and lock indicator appears on the display No buttons will be able to operate or press To cancel the child lock press and hold STOP CANCEL button for 3 seconds A beep sound and lock indicator goes off MAINTAINCE AND CARE Turn the oven off and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning 1 Clean the glass tray in a weak solution of dish liquid and rinse under the drinking water 2 Keep the inside of the oven clean When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls wipe with a damp cloth The use of harsh detergent or abrasives is not recommended 3 The outside oven surface should be cleaned with a damp cloth To prevent damage to the operat ing parts inside the oven water should not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings 4 Clean the oven door and window on both sides the door sealing and adjacent parts on a regular basis from dirt and remnants of food We recommend to use a weak solution of a neutral kitchen cleaning agent for cleaning Do not use abrasive cleaning agents gas or thinners for cleaning 5 Do not allow the Control Panel to get wet Clean it with a soft damp cloth 6 If steam accumulates inside or around the outsider of the oven door wipe with a soft cloth This may occur when the microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions and in no way indicates malfunction of the unit 7 It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning Wash the tray in warm sudsy water or in a dishwasher 8 The roller ring and oven cavity floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise Simply wipe the bottom surface of the oven with mild detergent water or window cleaner and dry The roller ring may be washed in mild sudsy water or dishwasher Cooking vapour collect during re peated use but in no way affect the bottom surface or rollering wheels When removing the roller ring from cavity floor for cleaning be sure to replace it in the proper position 9 Remove odors from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep microwaveable bowl Microwave for 5 minutes wipe thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth 10 When it becomes necessary to replace the oven light please consult a dealer to have it replaced 11 Clean the oven on a regular basis in accordance with the stated instructions and remove any rem nants of food found within Not maintaining the oven in a clean state could lead to the damage of the surface which could have a negative influence on the life of the appliance and could result in a dangerous situation EN 13 Copyright 2011 Fast CR a s Revision 03 2011
