CALENDAR CLOCK DISPLAY MODES The time is displayed in hour minute format The calendar is displayed in a date month format Each press on the MODE button will change the display modes between 1 time with seconds 2 time with the day of the week 3 zone time with the day of the week and 4 zone time with seconds HOW TO SET THE CLOCK MANUALLY In 1 time with seconds and 2 time with the day of the week display mode hold MODE button for 3 seconds the day of the week abbreviation will be flashing Press the UP or DOWN button to select between English German French Italian Spanish Dutch and Swedish Press MODE button to confirm Repeat the same procedure to set year digit month digit date digit calendar format hour format hour digit and minute digit When you finished press MODE button to exit and the display will be returned to the clock mode HOW TO SET TIME ZONE In 3 zone time with the day of the week and 4 zone time with seconds display modes hold MODE button for 3 seconds the time zone offset will be displayed Press the UP or DOWN button to enter offset interval from 13 00 to 15 00 hours to the current time Press MODE button to confirm and exit PRECAUTIONS This product is engineered to give you years of satisfactory service if you handle it carefully Here are a few precautions Do not immerse the unit in water Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials They may scratch the plastic parts and corrode the electronic circuit Do not subject the unit to excessive force shock dust temperature or humidity which may result in malfunction shorter electronic life span damaged battery and distorted parts Do not tamper with the unit s internal components Doing so will invalidate the warranty on the unit and may cause unnecessary damage The unit contains no user serviceable parts Only use fresh batteries as specified in the user s manual Do not mix new and old batteries as the old ones may leak Always read the user s manual thoroughly before operating the unit EN 5
