• Do not use the unit to curl wet
hair or synthetic wigs.
• Avoid contact of hot surfaces of
the unit with your face, neck or
other parts of your body.
• During operation do not put the
unit on heat-sensitive surfaces,
soft surface (bed or sofa) and do
not cover it.
• Place the unit on the safety stand
on a flat heat-resistant surface.
• Be careful! The operating sur-
face remains hot for some time
even after the unit was discon-
nected from the mains.
ATTENTION! Take the switched on
unit by its handle only. Do not touch
the operating surface while using
the unit.
• Before you take the unit away,
be sure to let it cool down, do
not wind the power cord around
the unit.
• Always unplug the unit after
usage and before cleaning.
• When unplugging the unit, pull
the plug but not the cord.
• For children safety reasons do not
leave polyethylene bags, used as a
packaging, unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children
to play with polyethylene bags
or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
• This unit is not intended for
usage by children or disabled
persons unless they are given all
the necessary and understand-
able instructions by a person
who is responsible for their safe-
ty on safety measures and infor-
mation about danger that can
be caused by improper usage
of the unit.
• Let the unit cool down completely
before taking it away for storage.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR
HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
Before the first use
• Unpack the curling tong and
unwind the power cord com-
pletely.
• Before connecting the unit to
the mains, make sure that unit
operating voltage corresponds
to your home mains voltage.
• Insert the power plug into the
mains socket.
• Set the switch (2) to the “On”
position to switch the curling
tong on; the power indicator (3)
will light up.
• Place the tong on the safety
stand (5) and let it heat up.
Note:
When using the unit for the first time,
foreign smell from the operating
surface (7) can appear. It is normal.
Usage
• Divide the hair into locks not
wider than 4-5 cm each.
