( ACTIVE 2- WAY MONO SYSTEM )

K1m is a mono amplifying system, which is small sized and easy to carry system.

It is designed to meet the needs of musicians, singers, DJs and conference room speakers. It offers a high sound quality both in

closed and open spaces.

This is due to the detailed configuration of the “top” of the loudspeakers, which are placed in an array configuration. Guaranteeing

a uniform and powerful sound diffusion when used in small or average-size locations.

The system consists of a bass-reflex “SUB” speaker, equipped with a 12” woofer, two class “D” amplifiers with a total power of

2000 watts, controlled by a powerful DSP and a “TOP” speaker, containing nine 3.5” full-range transducers equipped with

neodymium magnets.

The first 1000 watts amplifier drives the 12” woofer, which is placed in the “SUB” speaker. The second 1000 watts amplifier,

whose output power is electronically limited to 500 watts, drives the “TOP” mid-range and high frequencies speaker.

DSP accurately handles the audio signal thanks to its functions of equalization, filtering, delay, limiter and protection functions,

without altering its phase. Thanks to the technology of FIR filters, furthermore, it enables users to choose between four preset

equalization settings, in order to adapt the system output in all situations. Such characteristics, together with the attention in

choosing all used components, marks the difference between a high standard product, which is meant for professional use, and an

average product.

The “TOP” unit for the mid-range and high frequencies consists of a vertical aluminum speaker, protected by a scratch-resistant

paint, in which nine 3,5” full-range transducers with neodymium magnets have been installed. The very thin shape of the box walls

avoids the acoustic diffractions, thanks to its extremely short distance between drivers, averaged in an array configuration. This

offers a wider sound diffusion, with a minimum loss of sound pressure in the whole front.

The institutions and the instructions elaborated from the ERJK Research and Development Department produce a sound of

incomparable quality for medium -high frequencies.

The 3.5” transducer of the “TOP” box is one of ERJK’s strongest elements. This product, exclusively designed, developed and

assembled by the company is used on all LIVE “k” products. The sound of any instrument or vocal tone is thus reproduced with

unreachable loyalty.

The “SUB” speaker is equipped by a 12” woofer and protected by scratch-resistant paint. The perfect efficiency of the bass-reflex

system is granted by the big the triangular openings placed in the front, and in the four corners of the speaker, which are equidistant

from the woofer.

This solution prevents internal turbulences to arise, and provides a uniform rear-load, which is perfectly phased with the driver.

Using such triangular openings ensures both physical strength as well as structural solidity.

The 12” woofer of “SUB” is a transducer, which is also an in-house product, equipped with a neodymium magnet and a wide range

4” coil, capable of standing very high incoming power.

The top is designed to support the “TOP” speaker through a metal flange, on which is screwed onto the support stand.

The K1m full weight is only 20.9 Kg.
