anRS232command!Firstunlocktheunitusingthefrontpanelcontrols->RS232lockwill

automaticallybeunlocked.

factorydefaultsettings:if,foranyreason,youfeeltheneedtorestorethefactorydefaultsettings,

youhavetosendacommandviaRS232:“SETRESTOREON”.Theunitwillrestartautomatically

anddefaultsettingswillbewrittentotheinternalmemoryduringpowerup.Itisnotpossibleto

restorethefactorydefaultsettingsviathefrontpanelcontrols.

Afterafirmwareupgrade,alluserdefinedsettingswillbemaintained,however,itis

recommendedtocheckandadjustthesettingsafterafirmwareupgrade.Thenewestfirmware

Afirmwareupdaterprogramwillalsobeavailablefordownload.Inordertoupdatethe

firmware,youneedacomputerwithaworkingserialportandanappropriateserialcable

betweenChamp3Dandyourcomputer.Ifyouarenotfamiliarwithserialportsandcables,ask

forassistancefromaqualifiedengineer.
