2. Press the button . The button will illuminate and a start of brewing time will flash.
3. Within five seconds, use the buttons and to set the time you
wish brewing to begin. If no input is made within five seconds, the display will revert
to the set time of day.
Please note
► Be sure to set the start of brewing time to AM or PM as desired.
4. Press the button when the correct start time is displayed within the window. The
button will go out, and the button will illuminate, indicating that the start of
brewing time has been set. The display will revert to the time of day clock setting.
Please note
► To check the start of brewing time, press the illuminated button to cancel the Auto-
Brewing function. Press the button . The previously set start time will flash
in the display. Press the button again to retain the setting and reactivate the Auto-
Brewing function.
► To cancel the Auto On function, press the illuminated button . The button will go out.
14.3.3 1-4 Cup function
This special cycle optimizes flavor when brewing 1 to 4 cups of coffee. Push button
before pressing to activate the „1-4 Cup“-function. Both buttons will illuminate. When
brewing is finished, three beeps sound, the button will go out and the coffee maker
automatically switches to warming plate mode.
15 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and maintaining
the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device
incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.
15.1 Safety information
Attention
Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your device
► Unplug the device when not in use and before any cleaning.
► Never immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquids and do not
place in the dishwasher.
► Do not use iron brush, abradant kitchen cleaner or sharp cleaning tool for cleaning.
15.2 Cleaning the device and changing the
charcoal filter
Mineral deposits from water can clog your coffee maker.
After every 70 brewing cycles, the button will illuminate.
