Congratulations with the purchase of home appliances under VES

electric brand. From our side we guarantee excellent quality, perfect

functioning and safety of your appliance upon keeping to all the

rules of home exploitation. Before using the appliance read the

instruction manual carefully.

Recommendations for buyer

When buying the appliance, check it for the absence of mechanical

damage of the construction, check the external design and packing,

the functioning, the presence of filter and base in set. Note: operation

checking - is the duty of the seller. Please check the warranty card and

the accuracy of it’s filling (presence of the seller’s seal). You must save

the bill, instruction manual, warranty card until the end of the warranty

period. In case of bill and warranty card loss the warranty time is counted

from the production date.

IMPORTANT • the appliance is for household use only. Do not use it for

commercial purpose. • use the appliance only for its direct purpose. • use

the appliance on the heat-resistant solid and level surface. • do not add

chemical additives, scented substances or decalcifiers to the water tank.

• do not insert any items into the appliance to avoid its damage. • before

the first operating make sure that the voltage in your wall outlet is the same

as on the appliance’s voltage transition switch. • if an extension cord is

absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere cord should be used. Cords rated for

less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord

so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over. • to avoid a circuit overload,

do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.

• always disconnect the appliance from electrical outlet when filling

with water or emptying and when not in use. • do not use the power

cord or the appliance in order to pull the plug out of the socket.

Grasp the plug with the dry hand and pull out from the mains. • don't use

the damaged appliance or appliance with damaged cord / plug. • don't plug

the appliance to the damaged wall outlet. • don't use the appliance near

or on the hot surfaces. • don't let the cord hang over the edge of table or

touch any hot surfaces. • do not leave the hot appliance touching fabrics

or very inflammable surfaces. Stand the appliance on its back, even when

doing intermission while ironing. • use only attachments recommended

by the manufacturer. • never expose the appliance to fall down or to be

kicked. • unplug the appliance from the mains before filling the water tank

with water. • do not overfill the water tank. Always fill up to MAX mark.

• always close the water tank cap well before starting ironing. • do not

leave the water in the water tank after use. Empty the tank after each use.

• do not use the steam ironing and steam shot on modes "•" (Synthetics)

or "••" (Silk/Wool). • do not steam or steam shot when the pilot light is

on. Wait till the pilot light goes off. • don't press the steam burst button

too often. Wait some seconds before the next press. • Attention! Burns

may occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Pay atten-

tion! The iron's soleplate gets hot during the use and a short time after

the use. Do not touch it! Use caution when you turn the appliance upside

down – there may be hot water in the water tank. The hot steam, that

comes from the appliance is very dangerous. Do not direct the steam

on person. Do not use the appliance for steaming of ironing clothes on

person! • don't turn the working appliance upside down. • do not cover

the appliance by any items (blanket, towel, etc.) to avoid fire. • keep the

appliance 1 meter away from the combustible materials such as furniture,

cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains, etc. • do not use the

appliance in the rooms with explosive gas or while using inflammable

solvents, varnish or glue. • don't use the appliance with wet hands.

• don't use the appliance in the wet places (bath, etc.). • don't use the

appliance on a damp surface/floor. • don't immerse the appliance or

power cord into water. • don't let the turned on appliance be unattended.

• always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Let the appli-

ance cool down completely. • don't use any abrasive, chemical or

alcohol-contained cleaners for cleaning the appliance. • don't pour

vinegar or descaling agents into the water tank. • do not allow the

soleplate to come in contact with sharp metal surfaces to avoid

scratches. • never let the children play or operate the appliance.

• give a high attention when the appliance is being used near the children.

• repair the appliance only in authorized service center. Do not repair the

appliance by yourself! If the opening of the appliance is detected, the

appliance's guarantee will be canceled. • while using the appliance, please,

observe the safety precautions. • incorrect operation and improper hand-

ing can lead to malfunction of the appliance and injuries to the user. • if

the appliance has been used with infringement of guide's instructions, the

appliance's guarantee would be canceled and consumer should repair the

appliance by himself. • this appliance is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,

or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervi-

sion or instruction concerning use of appliance by a person responsible
